Question: My husband took my laptop away... now what?
( Back )
Answer #1:
No offense, but it sounds like you have much larger problems in your marriage than a laptop. Have you considered counseling? If not, I encourage you to look into it.Answer #2:
While he is gone pack your things and leave. You know about his addiction to kid porn and he is using your computer in your name. They will kick in the door and arrest you both if he crosses the line. How do you find him attractive after he is into teen porn. I think that the problem is not just he took your computer the problem is he is a pervert. grossAnswer #3:
You will have to go to a public computer and get your work done. I too am a long haul driver and the computer helps fill your down time. As for the porn many men look at porn not just drivers. He is being ignorant by taking the computer without your knowledge, when you get it back lock the computer so he can't use it without your permission. He is a sick man if he looks at teen porn, You could get into loads of trouble if he is using your computer to do this. I would shut the internet down and make him run off of air time cards.Answer #4:
o charge a new one, bigger one on his charge car LOLAnswer #5:
that was a shit thing to do. what a selfish pigAnswer #6:
What do you want from us here? The guy took the laptop with him and that's what. You really don't sound as if you talking to him in a way to handle this situation right from the beginning.Answer #7:
Call the dispatcher and have them tell him to fedex it to you so you can get your work done.He can buy his own laptop for the road.
Answer #8:
Have him email you the files you need. As for the rest of the situation, I'd have to know more, but you can bet that the supposed "teen" porn is probably 30 year old women, it is pretty much a meaningless label in porn, like a joke.Answer #9:
Call the trucking company he drives for and tell them that he took it and that you need it and you cannot wait 2 or 3 weeks for your computer. Perhaps they will have a suggestion and perhaps; they will ream his azz out for doing that to you. Oh and once you get your laptop back; Find yourself a new Lap-Dog!!! He is obviously an azzhole.Answer #10:
If the materials you need are on that laptop, you are in trouble there. Bigger issue; he's looking at underage porn, and now on YOUR computer? That needs to be the main concern. It is illegal, and the person that mentioned arrest is right. He can go to jail for that. You need to tell him it's the porn or you; he can't have both. Call him if possible, and tell him he needs to send the laptop back to you. Then deal with his porn addiction.Porn is NOT normal, and does cause a host of other problems, and only creeps that are also addicted are going to state otherwise. If he won't stop, he's cheating on you (lusting that way counts, in God's eyes), and you would be right to leave him.
Answer #11:
Well pretty soon you wont have to worry about him as he will be locked up for looking at and probably downloading kiddie porn.If it were my husband I'd turn him in myself, as anyone who gets off by looking at underage porn is SICK.
If I were you I'd print out this question to keep as proof you went looking for help as to this problem. The Police WILL eventually get him ,as people think they cover their IP address when they log on to those Child Porn sites and no one can track them .WRONG.
I LOVE that these perverts think that as so they'll be caught. I'd have a divorce lawyer lined up if I were you.
